Modern parenting often comes with countless product choices, yet many parents still struggle to find tableware that feels both safe and truly long-lasting. While plastic and silicone dominate the baby feeding market, concerns around durability, hygiene, and sustainability continue to grow among thoughtful parents.
Nava Nest was launched in December 2025 by Singaporean mother Cheryl, who wanted to challenge the “silicone struggle” many parents face daily. Frustrated by lingering soap smells, stains, and wear in plastic and silicone baby products, Cheryl returned to honest materials like porcelain. Her vision was simple yet meaningful: to create beautiful, durable tableware that supports children learning to eat while maintaining the safety and elegance parents value.
Designed To Support Babies Learning To Eat

At the heart of Nava Nest’s collection is a carefully designed porcelain divided plate that makes mealtimes easier for both children and parents. The plate features three compartments, helping parents portion meals while encouraging children to explore different foods as they practice feeding themselves.
Each plate includes a removable silicone suction base that secures it firmly to smooth surfaces. This thoughtful feature prevents babies from easily tipping or flipping the plate during mealtimes. Nava Nest also offers a ceramic bowl with the same suction design, along with stainless steel fork and spoon sets created specifically for different developmental stages, ensuring children can comfortably grip and use their utensils as their motor skills improve.
Balancing Safety, Functionality, And Modern Design

Safety remains a central priority for Nava Nest. Every product undergoes testing through the international certification body SGS to ensure it meets strict food safety standards. The materials are verified to be free from lead, cadmium, BPA, and phthalates, giving parents reassurance about what touches their child’s food every day.
Beyond safety, the brand focuses on creating products that fit naturally into modern homes. Instead of bright, overly playful baby colors, Nava Nest introduces a softer palette of blush pink, ocean blue, and sage green. These pastel tones complement contemporary interiors while keeping the tableware visually appealing for both children and adults, allowing babies to eat using materials similar to their parents.
Sustainability Through Longevity And Honest Materials

One of Nava Nest’s most defining principles is sustainability through durability. Cheryl wanted to move away from the cycle of repeatedly discarding stained or odor-absorbing plastic products. Porcelain offers a non-porous glazed surface that resists stains, odors, and food residue, making it easier to clean and maintain over time.
The removable suction base also contributes to the product’s long lifespan. As children grow and gain better control while eating, parents can simply detach the suction base and continue using the same plate or bowl for years. This thoughtful design ensures the product remains useful well beyond the baby stage, reducing unnecessary waste while maintaining quality at the dining table.

Although Nava Nest is still in its early stages, Cheryl is already exploring future additions such as cups to complete the feeding set. With a focus on safe materials, intentional design, and sustainability, the brand continues its mission to bring honest, long-lasting tableware into children’s everyday meals.
